Helpful Tips
DON'T ATTEMPT YOUR OWN STAIN REMOVAL - You'll find hundreds of tips on how to remove stains on the Internet but many don't take into consideration the materials you are working with. A common fatal error is the use of acetone which dissolves acetate fibers. Instead, bring it to Blondie's where our professionally trained cleaners use the right cleaning methods on your fabrics to leave your garments looking their best.
DON'T IRON STAINED CLOTHING - This can permanently damage the fabric.
DON'T RUB A WET STAIN - This will spread the stain and embed it deeper into the garment. Instead, try and absorb excess moisture with a paper towel or cotton towel and then have it cleaned.
READ THE LABELS - All garments display at least one safe cleaning method. If your 'dry clean only' garment is laundered and damage occurs, we will not be able to help you.
SPRAY YOUR BODY, NOT YOUR CLOTHES - The alcohol in fragrances, hairsprays and other toiletries leave yellowish stains that are not visible until after garments are cleaned.
DON'T LEAVE YOUR CLOTHES IN THE BACKSEAT OF THE CAR - Garments will fade and fabric fibers will weaken in sunlight and heat.
YOUR PARTNER IN CLEAN - If you have any questions or concerns that we have not answered here, please don't hesitate to give us a call or drop by a Blondie's location for advice about your cleaning needs.
